Refund policy

We're a small business and we truly care about the happiness of everyone who chooses River Makeup. If there's a problem with your order placed on www.rivermakeup.it, we want to fix it! Below you'll find our general guidelines, but we always encourage you to get in touch: we evaluate many situations on a case-by-case basis to make sure you're satisfied with your experience with us.

Returns (Right of Withdrawal) Our return policy lasts 14 days from the delivery of your order. If 14 days have passed since you received your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a "change of mind" return, your item must meet two essential conditions:

-> It must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it, inside its original packaging. -> Important note on hygiene: Since these are makeup tools (brushes), for obvious hygiene reasons and to protect the health and safety of all our customers, the right of withdrawal is automatically forfeited if the seal of the original box has been broken or tampered with.

To complete the return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase from our site (the order number is enough).

Have you opened the box (breaking the seal) but found a specific issue or are not satisfied? Don't worry in advance: write to us at HELLO@RIVERITALY.IT explaining the situation and including your order number. We'll review your case individually to find the best solution together.

Return Shipping and Costs To make things easier for you, you won't have to find a courier on your own. Once you've contacted us at HELLO@RIVERITALY.IT and we've approved your return request:

-> We'll send you the shipping label ready-to-print by email, to apply to the package so you can drop it off at a convenient pickup point (e.g. BRT Fermopoint). -> The return shipping costs (in the case of a change-of-mind return) remain at your expense and involve a flat fee of €5.90. -> For your maximum convenience, you won't have to pay anything to the courier: the €5.90 amount will simply be deducted from your refund total. * We also remind you that any shipping fees paid at the time of the original order are non-refundable.

Refunds Once your return has arrived at our facility and been inspected (to verify the integrity of the seal and the product), we'll send you an email confirming receipt. If the return meets the requirements, the refund (net of the €5.90 return shipping and the original shipping costs) will be processed and automatically credited back to the payment method used at the time of purchase, within a few business days.

Replacements for defective items (Legal Warranty) We work hard to guarantee the highest quality of River Makeup brushes. However, if you receive an item with a manufacturing defect or damaged in transit, we'll replace it without hesitation. Send us an email with a photo or video of the defect attached to HELLO@RIVERITALY.IT (including the order number) and we'll provide you with instructions on how to proceed. (Please note: in the case of a return for a defective product covered by warranty, the label and all shipping costs will of course be entirely on us)
